Part B - Red wines
He says : 2 stars
Section 2 - Malbec
- $34.50
- Color: blood red dress, darker than the previous reviewed wine
- Served with pork tenderloin, lemon & herbs butter sauce, spicy broccoli and mustard rice
He says : 2 stars
- Smells very oaky, black olives smell
- First it has a nice fruity, strong taste but it doesn't last long at all, shrivels back into a poor, barrel tasting aftertaste
- Tastes like fad tannins, and very dry
- At first, cherries, strawberries, licorice
- If you aerate it and wash it around, it's pleasant.. but when drunk, it's over
- Maybe too old
- Very poor choice, especially for the price
She says : 3.25 stars
- Pleasant smell : cherries, raspberries
- Also a smell of black olives
- Smooth and fatty first taste
- Very flavorful : round, red fruit but a bit light
- Pleasant when full in mouth, but a little bitter and very dry aftertaste
- No finish
- Corky taste?
